In Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas, the holiday season has come to Salem, and all the familiar faces are ready to celebrate. The movie follows a few different storylines that intertwine throughout the film.

First, we see Sonny and Will working together to write a holiday movie that perfectly encapsulates the unique spirit of Salem. They draw inspiration from all the characters, including some fan favorites like Marlena, John, and Abe. As they work, they start to fall in love all over again.

Meanwhile, the more classic Days of Our Lives drama is unfolding all around them. Christmas decorations are going up all over town, but there's a sense of impending doom as an old Salem foe returns to town. Stefano DiMera, played by the iconic Joe Mascolo, is wreaking havoc all over the place, and the characters must come together to stop him before he causes serious harm.

We also get to see some of the more mundane, everyday aspects of life in Salem during the holidays. Characters exchange gifts and attend parties, all the while dealing with their own interpersonal dramas. There's a particularly touching subplot featuring Jennifer and Abigail, as Abigail tries to come to terms with her recent diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder.

Throughout the movie, there are plenty of laughs, tears, and heartwarming moments. Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas is the perfect holiday movie for die-hard fans of the show and newcomers alike.
