Clair Hamilton, played by actress Gina Carano, is a tough ex-military specialist who comes home to her father's remote cabin in the mountains of Canada to inherit his fortune. She quickly discovers that her father's death was not accidental and that he was murdered by a gang of local criminals who have been after his money for a long time. Claire is determined to avenge her father's death and protect her son, who has been kidnapped by the gang leader, known only as “Father”.
As she sets out to rescue her son, Claire discovers that the gang has taken him to an abandoned gold mine deep in the wilderness. With the help of a local tracker named Larsen, played by Richard Dreyfuss, Claire navigates the treacherous terrain to reach the mine. Along the way, she must confront the gang members and fend off their various attacks.
As Claire gets closer to rescuing her son, she uncovers a shocking truth about her father's past and the real reason why the gang is after him. With time running out, Claire must use all of her skills and resources to outsmart the gang and save her son's life.
