Dashcam follows the story of Julia, a struggling musician who relies heavily on livestreaming for her income. When the COVID-19 pandemic hits, she becomes increasingly delusional and self-indulgent, convinced that the virus won't affect her and that her career will continue to flourish.
Desperate for a change of scenery, Julia steals her ex-bandmate's car and decides to travel to London. Along the way, she picks up an elderly woman named Agatha, who claims she needs a ride to visit her sick sister. Despite having reservations about Agatha, Julia decides to trust her and embarks on a road trip across the country.
As they journey deeper into England's countryside, strange things begin to happen. Agatha seems to know more about Julia than she should, and Julia starts to experience bizarre hallucinations. It soon becomes clear that Agatha is not who she claims to be, and Julia finds herself trapped in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
With her life on the line, Julia must come to terms with the consequences of her indulgent behavior and find a way to outsmart her mysterious passenger. Dashcam is a thrilling and darkly comedic take on pandemic anxiety, self-delusion, and the dangers of trusting strangers.
