In Darrow & Darrow: Body of Evidence, Claire Darrow (played by Kimberly Williams-Paisley) is a lawyer who works with her father, the renowned defense attorney, (played by Tom Cavanagh). Together, they take on a case defending a woman named Angela Brandt (played by Wendie Malick) who has been convicted of murdering her husband. The case is complicated as Angela's previous lawyer failed to gather crucial evidence and present it in court. Additionally, there is a lot of doubt surrounding the police investigation and the prosecution's handling of the case.
As Claire works on the case, she encounters Miles Strasberg (played by Victor Webster), a prosecutor who has always been on the opposite side of the courtroom from her. Miles questions his role as a prosecutor and begins to work with Claire to uncover new evidence and figure out what really happened on the night of the murder. Despite their professional rivalry, Claire and Miles start to develop feelings for each other.
Together, Claire and Miles investigate the case, following leads and piecing together evidence that could potentially exonerate Angela. However, as they get closer to the truth, they also put themselves in danger, as someone seems determined to stop them from uncovering the truth.
In the end, Claire and Miles find the evidence needed to clear Angela's name and reveal the true killer. Along the way, they also grow closer and consider what their future might hold.
