The 2008 Finnish horror film "Dark Floors" follows a group of people who become trapped in a hospital as the building is taken over by sinister monsters. The group includes a father named Ben (Noah Huntley) and his young daughter Sarah (Skye Bennett), who has autism and is non-verbal. Also stuck in the hospital are three other strangers: a singer named Lordi (who is played by a real-life Finnish heavy metal musician of the same name), a nurse named Emily (Dominique McElligott), and a security guard named Rick (Ronald Pickup).
As the group attempts to navigate the dark, maze-like hospital and evade the monstrous creatures, they begin to experience strange hallucinations and surreal visions. Meanwhile, Ben must also confront the painful memories and guilt he feels about his daughter's condition.
As the film progresses, the group slowly realizes that they are not just being hunted by monsters - they are actually trapped in a hellish alternate dimension, overseen by a mysterious figure called The Lord of Darkness (played by William Hope). The only way to escape this nightmare is to confront their deepest fears and secrets, and work together to find a way out.
