Jonathan Danger is an adventurer and treasure hunter who has made a career out of exploring dangerous and exotic locations around the globe. His latest adventure takes him to an island off the coast of Africa, where he is searching for a long-lost temple that is rumored to hold the power to transport people through time.
Unfortunately for Jonathan, he is not the only one searching for the temple. The Soviet Union has also sent a team of agents to the island, hoping to use the temple to change the course of history. They believe that by altering the events of the Space Race, the Cold War, and World War II, they can bring about a new era of Soviet dominance.
As Jonathan ventures deeper into the jungle, he discovers that the island is home to many dangers, including poisonous plants, deadly animals, and treacherous terrain. He also has to contend with a punctured lung and being kidnapped by Jungle Jim and his sister Jade Calloway, two ruthless mercenaries who are working for the highest bidder.
Despite all these obstacles, Jonathan never gives up. He uses his extensive knowledge of survival skills and ancient artifacts to outwit his enemies and navigate the treacherous landscape.
