Damsels in Distress is a 2011 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Whit Stillman. The film follows a group of college girls, led by the quirky Violet Wister (Greta Gerwig), who take it upon themselves to improve the lives of their fellow students at the fictional Seven Oaks college.
