Dads is a documentary film directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and produced by her father Ron Howard. The film explores the contemporary meaning of fatherhood through the experiences of celebrities, as well as everyday dads from around the world. It combines humorous anecdotes with heartfelt moments to showcase the joys and complexities of fatherhood in the modern era. The film features interviews with well-known personalities like Will Smith, Jimmy Fallon, Neil Patrick Harris, and Judd Apatow, among others, who share their stories of fatherhood. Bryce Dallas Howard also interviews her own father, Ron, about his experiences raising her and her siblings. Dads premiered at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival and was released on Apple TV+ in June 2020.
