Derek, a widowed father, is devastated when his teenage daughter is found murdered on the beach. The police investigation hits a dead end, and no evidence is found to point to a suspect. Consumed by grief and a desire for revenge, Derek decides to take matters into his own hands.
He becomes obsessed with seeking out the killer and making them pay for their crime. In his research, he comes across a wealth of information about torture throughout history and begins to plan a week-long regimen of brutal tactics to inflict maximum pain on his daughter's killer.
In secret, he sets up a hidden torture chamber in his basement and begins to stock it with tools and instruments designed to inflict excruciating suffering on a human being. He then kidnaps the person he believes is responsible for his daughter's death, someone who is close to him and whom he trusted implicitly.
His captive is subjected to a relentless onslaught of physical and psychological torment, as Derek seeks to exact revenge for the loss of his beloved child. But as the torture reaches fever pitch, Derek's grip on reality begins to slip, and he starts to question his own motives and sanity.
Daddy's Little Girl is a chilling exploration of a father's grief and the dark depths to which it can drive him. It's a cautionary tale of the dangers of vengeance and how it can consume even the most rational and well-intentioned of men.
