The movie follows the main character, Charlie Hinton, as he decides to open his own summer camp called Daddy Day Camp in order to give his son and other children in the neighborhood a fun and memorable summer experience. However, things don't go as smoothly as planned, as the camp faces financial hardship and struggles to attract campers.
To make matters worse, Charlie's old childhood rival, Lance Warner, who now operates the rival camp Camp Canola, tries to sabotage Daddy Day Camp and steal all their campers. The two camps engage in a fierce competition, with pranks and challenges being thrown back and forth.
As tensions rise between the two camps, Charlie must work even harder to save Daddy Day Camp and prove that he can provide a quality summer experience for the children. With the help of his son and the other campers, Charlie learns valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and the importance of friendship.
In the end, Daddy Day Camp is able to overcome the challenges and emerge victorious, proving that with determination and heart, anything is possible.
