Dabangg 2 starts with Chulbul Pandey being transferred to Kanpur as the new SP. He is excited to begin his new job and reunite with his family, including his father and brother, who live in Kanpur. However, things soon turn sour for Chulbul as he realizes that the city is overrun by criminals, including Baccha Bhaiyya, a notorious gangster who has now entered politics.
Baccha Bhaiyya is determined to win the upcoming elections and will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, including kidnapping, murder, and rape. Chulbul, being the brave and fearless cop that he is, decides to take on Baccha Bhaiyya and his goons head-on.
As Chulbul sets out to bring Baccha Bhaiyya down, he faces several challenges, including corruption within the police force and threats to his family. However, with his wit, charm, and of course, his signature style of action, Chulbul manages to overcome all obstacles and emerges victorious.
Alongside the main plot, Dabangg 2 also explores Chulbul's personal life. He is happily married to Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), and the couple is shown enjoying their time together. However, when a new woman enters Chulbul's life, his relationship with Rajjo is tested.
