Dr. Hess Green, a wealthy anthropologist, is given a cursed dagger by his assistant George Meda. When George commits suicide, Hess finds himself cursed by the artifact and develops a thirst for blood. He quickly discovers that drinking blood gives him heightened senses and abilities, but also begins to consume him emotionally and psychologically.
