Da 5 Bloods is a 2020 American war drama film directed by Spike Lee and written by Danny Bilson, Paul De Meo, Kevin Willmott, and Lee. The film stars Delroy Lindo, Jonathan Majors, Clarke Peters, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. as four African American Vietnam War veterans who return to Vietnam to search for the remains of their fallen squad leader and the treasure they buried during the war.

The film is set in contemporary times, when the four veterans, who call themselves "Bloods," reunite in Ho Chi Minh City after decades. They are Paul (Delroy Lindo), Otis (Clarke Peters), Eddie (Norm Lewis), and Melvin (Isiah Whitlock Jr.), who are accompanied by Paul's estranged son, David (Jonathan Majors). They meet with their Vietnamese tour guide Vinh (Johnny Trí Nguyễn) and retrieve their hidden supply of weapons before travelling to the jungle where their squad leader Norman (Chadwick Boseman) died.

The Bloods' search for Norman's remains becomes complicated when they encounter Paul's unresolved trauma from Vietnam, which often manifests as extreme nationalist views and exaggerated feelings of loss. They are also pursued by a group of Frenchmen, led by a man named Desroche (Jean Reno), who aim to steal the treasure that the Bloods have been seeking. As they near their objective, the Bloods must contend with oppressive heat, dangerous wildlife, and remnants of the war that still kill decades later.

Da 5 Bloods is notable for its themes of race, the Vietnam War, and reparations for black Vietnam War veterans. The film draws on a range of techniques and styles, including documentary footage, archival images, and modern-day vignettes. The film addresses issues such as the Black Lives Matter movement and features several protest songs by Marvin Gaye. The film premiered on Netflix in June 2020, to critical acclaim, with many praising Lee's direction and Lindo's performance.
