The film Cynthia follows Robin (played by Scout Taylor-Compton) and Michael (played by Kyle Jones), a seemingly perfect couple who are struggling to conceive a child. After years of trying and failing, Robin becomes convinced that their only hope is through in vitro fertilization. But when the fertilized egg splits and Robin gives birth to not one but two babies - one beautiful and healthy, and the other... not so much - their perfect life begins to unravel.
