The four friends in question, played by an ensemble cast including Sanaa Lathan and John Cho, were high school seniors in 2002 when they played a late-night game that promised to predict their futures. They didn't take it seriously, of course, but as they wake up on October 31st, 2021, they realize that the game was eerily accurate.
One friend is a successful lawyer who finds herself suddenly unable to speak, as predicted by the game. Another friend is a world traveler who is suddenly paralyzed from the waist down. The third friend has become a recluse, just as the game predicted, and the fourth friend is plagued by a series of disturbing visions.
As the friends struggle to understand what is happening to them, they realize that they must band together to stop their fates from becoming even worse. They return to their high school, the site of the original game, hoping to find answers.
What they find instead is a dark, supernatural force that is intent on destroying them. As they fight for their lives, they learn the truth about the game that haunted them for so many years. In the end, they must make a terrible sacrifice to break the curse and save themselves.
Cursed Friends is a twisty, unsettling horror film that explores the power of fate and the bonds of friendship. Full of shocks and surprises, it will keep audiences on the edge of their seats until the very end.
