As Kayla and Amanda adjust to life in the treatment center, they quickly realize that the staff's methods are not only harsh but also unethical. They witness other students being mistreated and punished for minor infractions, and they themselves are subjected to psychological manipulation and physical abuse.
Despite the harsh conditions, Kayla and Amanda form a tight bond and vow to stick together and help each other survive. They devise a plan to gather evidence of the abuse and contact the outside world for help. However, their attempts are thwarted by the vigilant staff members who closely monitor their every move.
As their time in the treatment center drags on, Kayla and Amanda become more determined than ever to expose the truth and seek justice. They risk everything, including their own safety, to make contact with a sympathetic staff member who promises to help them bring the abuse to light.
In a dramatic climax, Kayla and Amanda manage to escape the treatment center and bring their story to the attention of the authorities.
