In the movie Crossword Mysteries: Abracadaver, Tess Harper (played by Lacey Chabert) and her partner, Detective Logan O'Connor (played by Brennan Elliott) attend a birthday celebration for a friend at the Magic Manor, a popular magic-themed resort. However, the night takes a dark turn when the headlining magician, Max Marini, is found dead on stage during his performance.
