Critters is a 1986 horror-comedy film directed by Stephen Herek. The story revolves around a group of small, furry extraterrestrial creatures called Critters that escape from their prison asteroid and land on Earth in rural Kansas. The Critters, who have a taste for human flesh, begin to attack the residents of the small town of Grover's Bend.
The film centers around the Brown family, who unwittingly become the primary targets of the Critters. The family's young son, Brad (Scott Grimes), befriends the shape-shifting aliens and helps them evade the intergalactic bounty hunters, who have been sent to capture the Critters and prevent them from wreaking havoc across the galaxy.

Emmet Walsh) and the trigger-happy Jay (Billy Zane), form a posse to take on the alien invaders.
