The film follows three amateur film-makers named Jessica, David, and Brian, who venture deep into the woods for a weekend to shoot their latest video. As they set up camp and begin filming, they start to experience strange noises and sightings in the surrounding wilderness.
Their camera captures several unexplained incidents, such as trees shaking violently, odd animal noises, and strange glowing eyes in the darkness. Despite their fear and skepticism, the trio dismiss the occurrences as natural phenomena and continue filming.
As the night falls, they hear growls and footsteps outside their tents. Unwilling to abandon their project, they emerge to investigate and are confronted by a horrifying creature with large fangs and claws.
The terrified group flees, pursued by the creature, which seems to be hunting them down. In their desperation to survive, they start to turn on each other, with tensions escalating and trust breaking down.
The creature mercilessly picks them off one by one until only one of them survives, with the harrowing tale of their encounter finally captured on camera.
