Crater is a coming-of-age story set in a near-future world where humanity has established colonies on the Moon. The protagonist is a young boy named Peter, whose father was a miner on the lunar surface. After his father's sudden death, Peter is faced with the prospect of leaving the only home he's ever known and moving to a new planet with his mother.
Desperate to make the most of his remaining time on the Moon, Peter decides to embark on a journey to explore a fabled crater that no one has ever seen before. He convinces his four best friends to join him on this dangerous expedition, despite the risks involved.
