The 1958 film Cowboy stars Glenn Ford as Tom Reece, the tough and experienced trail boss leading a group of cowboys on a dangerous cattle drive from Mexico to Montana. Frank Harris, played by Jack Lemmon, is the naive and bookish hotel clerk who joins their crew after being spurned by the woman he loves.
