One of the teenagers, Mia, is a talented artist who comes up with the idea to start counterfeiting money as a way to make some quick cash. Her best friend, Parker, reluctantly agrees to help her, seeing it as a harmless way to have some fun and make some extra money.
However, as they continue their counterfeiting operation in secret in their high school art classroom, things start to spiral out of control. Their art teacher, Mr. Andrews, who is struggling with his own financial troubles, discovers what they are doing and confronts them.
