Daniel, played by Bartosz Bielenia, is a troubled young man who turns to religion as a way to cope with his troubled past. Despite his criminal record, he is determined to become a priest and help others.
After being sent to work at a carpenter's workshop in a small town, Daniel takes on the identity of a priest and, due to a misunderstanding, ends up leading the local parish. Despite not being officially ordained, Daniel's passion and charisma quickly win over the community.
As he settles into his new role, Daniel begins to form relationships with the town's residents, including a troubled young woman named Eliza who is struggling with her own demons. Through his unconventional methods and non-traditional approach to religion, Daniel is able to bring a sense of healing and hope to the town.
However, Daniel's true identity eventually comes to light, leading to a crisis of faith for both himself and the community. As he grapples with his past and struggles to find redemption, Daniel must confront the consequences of his deception and determine whether he can truly make a difference as a priest, despite his troubled past.
