"Constantine: The House of Mystery" is a supernatural horror film based on the DC Comics character John Constantine. The film is directed by David F. Sandberg and written by Peter Tomasi.
The film begins with John Constantine waking up in the House of Mystery, a mysterious and magical house that appears only to those who seek it. Constantine has no memory of how he got there, and soon finds that he is trapped in a never-ending loop of death and rebirth.
Every time Constantine is killed, he wakes up again in the House of Mystery, only to find that his friends - Zatanna, Swamp Thing, and Etrigan the Demon - have turned into demonic creatures and are hunting him down. Constantine soon realizes that he must uncover the mystery of the House, and find a way to break the cycle in order to escape.
As Constantine navigates the House and its many dangers, he is plagued by visions of his past mistakes and sins. The longer he stays in the House, the more he realizes that he cannot outrun his past, and that he may have to confront his demons - literally and figuratively - if he ever wants to escape.
Throughout the film, there are many twists and turns as Constantine tries to unravel the mystery of the House and find a way out. Along the way, he is helped and hindered by his friends, depending on whether they are in their demonic or human forms.
The film culminates in a terrifying final confrontation, as Constantine faces off against the true mastermind behind the House of Mystery, and must make a choice that will determine his ultimate fate.
