Consequences follows the story of Movanni, a successful businesswoman who has been scarred by a traumatic past involving abuse and betrayal from a former lover. As a result, she has developed trust issues and has sworn off love altogether, focusing solely on her career.
However, everything changes when she meets Donovan, a charming and handsome man who is also dealing with his own demons. Despite her reservations, Movanni finds herself drawn to Donovan, who seems to understand her in ways that no one ever has. As they embark on a whirlwind romance, Movanni starts to slowly let go of her past and opens up to the possibility of love once again.
However, their relationship is not without its challenges. Donovan's own past catches up with him and threatens to disrupt their newfound happiness. Movanni is forced to confront her own fears and insecurities, as well as decide if she is willing to take a chance on love again.
