Connected is a satirical movie that explores the concept of self-improvement and the pursuit of perfection in modern society. She guides Jackie through a series of exercises and meditations designed to help her connect with herself and the world around her.
As Jackie becomes more involved in the program, she begins to give up everything in her life that doesn't align with her new sense of perfection. She quits her job, breaks up with her boyfriend, and cuts ties with her family. She becomes completely obsessed with the idea of being "connected" and will do anything to maintain that feeling.
As the movie progresses, it becomes clear that the "Connected" program is not what it seems. The spa's founder, a charismatic guru named Zahir, has a dark agenda that he wants to keep hidden from the participants.
