Condorman is a 1981 action-comedy film directed by Charles Jarrott, with Michael Crawford playing the lead role of Woody i.e. Condorman. The movie is based on the comic book character created by Robert Sheckley.

In the movie, Woody is a talented comic book artist who dreams of becoming a real-life hero. He gets a chance to prove himself when he agrees to perform a courier operation for his friend Harry, who works for the CIA. However, things don't go as planned, and Woody ends up fending off hostile agents who are after Harry's package. Much to his surprise, Woody successfully manages to evade the men and complete the delivery, earning the respect of Natalia, who is a beautiful Russian spy seeking to defect to the United States.

Natalia asks Woody for his assistance in her defection, but he uses it as leverage to request the CIA's resources to make his comic book creation, Condorman, a reality. With the help of Harry and his team, Woody designs a Condorman suit equipped with all sorts of gadgets and weaponry fit for a superhero.

However, things take a turn when Krokov, the main villain and a former KGB agent, kidnaps Natalia. Woody realizes it's up to him and his newfound superhero persona to rescue her and stop Krokov’s evil plans. Thus, Condorman takes to the sky and battles Krokov's forces, showcasing his flying abilities and quick thinking.

The movie features a mix of action, humor, and romance, with Crawford’s portrayal of Woody/Condorman driving the story forward. Despite mixed reviews at the time of its release, Condorman has since gained a cult following and is remembered for its fun, light-hearted tone and impressive aerial stunts.
