Conan the Destroyer was released in 1984 as a sequel to Conan the Barbarian. It features many familiar faces, including lead actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who reprised his role as Conan. The movie was directed by Richard Fleischer and produced by Raffaella De Laurentiis.

The story of Conan the Destroyer begins with the evil queen Taramis (Sarah Douglas) seeking out Conan's help. She wants him to escort her niece, Princess Jehnna (Olivia D'Abo), to retrieve the Horn of Dagon. The horn has the power to bring back the god Dagoth, who can grant eternal life to whoever possesses the horn.

Conan agrees to help Taramis, who promises to bring back Valeria, his dead love from the first movie, in exchange for the Horn. Conan also agrees to take along his old friend and wizard, Akiro (Mako), and hires two new allies: Zula (Grace Jones), a fierce warrior woman, and Malak (Tracey Walter), a clumsy thief.

Upon arriving at the castle where the Horn is kept, Taramis reveals her true intentions – she plans to sacrifice Princess Jehnna to bring back Dagoth and become a god herself. She tasks Jehnna's bodyguard, Bombaata (Wilt Chamberlain), with killing Conan and his allies.

The group makes their way through various obstacles and battles, both mortal and supernatural, as they attempt to acquire the Horn. They eventually succeed, but are betrayed by Bombaata and captured by the queen's army.

Conan, with the help of his allies, escapes and faces off against Taramis and Bombaata. He defeats them and destroys the Horn of Dagon, knowing that the power it held was too dangerous to be wielded by anyone.

In the end, Conan and his friends go their separate ways, with Conan setting out on new adventures.
