Come on In, We're Dead is a gripping and intense retelling of the true story of the infamous shootout that took place in 1932. The movie follows Sheriff Runnels and his 10-man posse as they set out to arrest the notorious Barker gang, a group of outlaws responsible for a string of robberies and murders.

The posse, made up of seasoned lawmen and volunteers, arrives at the Barker's farmhouse outside Springfield, Missouri, expecting a routine arrest. But the situation quickly spirals out of control as the Barker brothers, Fred and Arthur, and their accomplices open fire on the posse.

In a hail of gunfire, nine of the lawmen are shot, six of them fatally. The surviving members of the posse are forced to retreat, leaving behind their fallen comrades and the wounded civilian who had joined them.

But the Barker gang's victory is short-lived as a massive manhunt for the outlaws is launched, and they are eventually captured and brought to justice.

Come on In, We're Dead captures the brutality and danger of law enforcement in the early 20th century and pays tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the men who lost their lives in the line of duty. The film is a must-watch for fans of the true crime genre and anyone interested in the history of American law enforcement.
