The film Color Me Blood Red was directed by horror legend H.G. Lewis and released in 1965. The plot revolves around a struggling artist named Adam Sorge (played by Gordon Oas-Heim) who resorts to using human blood in his paintings after running out of red paint. Much to his surprise, his macabre creations become an instant sensation in the art world, and he quickly rises to fame.

As Adam continues to create more and more grisly works of art, he becomes increasingly unhinged, descending into a spiral of violence and madness. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Gigi (played by Candi Conder), begins to suspect that something is seriously wrong and sets out to uncover the truth about Adam's gory methods.

Color Me Blood Red is known for its graphic and shocking imagery, including scenes of torture, dismemberment, and cannibalism. It is often considered one of H.G. Lewis' most disturbing films and a classic example of 1960s exploitation cinema. Despite its notoriety, the movie was made on a shoestring budget and features relatively unknown actors, although it has gained a cult following over the years.
