Nels Coxman is a respected member of the community in the small ski resort town of Kehoe, Colorado. He spends his days plowing snow off the roads, and his evenings with his wife and son. But when Nels' son is found dead of an apparent heroin overdose, he realizes that his son may not have been the upstanding citizen he had thought.
Nels begins to investigate his son's death and learns that he was involved with a drug cartel run by a man named Viking. In a rage, Nels vows to take down Viking and his entire organization.
Nels begins his mission by killing one of Viking's men, then slowly works his way up the chain of command, taking out each member of the organization one by one. He even enlists the help of his brother, a former mercenary, to help him in his quest for vengeance.
But as Nels gets closer to Viking, he begins to realize that the situation is more complicated than he thought. He learns that Viking is not the only player in the game, and that his actions have consequences that he never could have anticipated.
Through it all, Nels maintains his calm and stoic demeanor, even as the violence and chaos escalate around him. In the end, he proves that revenge truly is all in the execution, but at what cost?
