Code Name: The Cleaner is a comedy-thriller film released in 2007, starring Cedric the Entertainer as Jake, Lucy Liu as Gina, and Nicollette Sheridan as Diane. The movie begins with Jake waking up in a hotel room with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As he tries to piece together his identity, he discovers that he's been framed for a crime he didn't commit and is being pursued by both the FBI and the Russian mafia.
Gina, a waitress at a nearby diner, offers to help Jake by pretending to be his wife. Together, they try to uncover the truth behind Jake's amnesia and clear his name. Along the way, they encounter a variety of quirky characters, including a paranoid government agent played by DeRay Davis and a seductive femme fatale played by Nicollette Sheridan.
As Jake gets closer to unraveling the conspiracy, he discovers that he may not be who he thought he was. The movie is filled with humorous situations and one-liners, but also has plenty of suspense and action. It was directed by Les Mayfield and written by Robert Adetuyi and George Gallo.
