Dante is a 26-year-old hippie living in Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Maya. He spends his days making natural, homemade lip balm and selling it at local farmers' markets. However, with Maya pregnant and their bills piling up, Dante is struggling to make ends meet and provide for his family.
One day, while walking down the street, Dante sees a flyer for a Birthday Clown Wanted and decides to give it a shot. He calls the number and is immediately hired for the job.
At the birthday party, Dante meets a fellow clown named Pele. Unlike him, she is a professional clown with years of experience under her belt. After the party, Pele invites Dante to join her at a Pity Party, where she and other performers put on a show to cheer up the audience.
However, Dante soon realizes that the Pity Party is not what it seems. It is actually a front for an underground organization that deals drugs and engages in illegal activities. Before he knows it, Dante is caught up in a dangerous world of crime and must navigate his way out before it's too late.
Along the way, Dante learns the importance of standing up for what is right and protecting his loved ones, even if it means putting himself in harm's way. With the help of Pele and other allies, Dante must find a way to escape the criminal underworld and return to his peaceful life as a hippie entrepreneur.
