Clash of the Wolves is a 1925 American silent film directed by Noel M. Smith. The film stars Rin Tin Tin, Charles Farrell, and June Marlowe. The movie was produced by Warner Bros. and was based on a story by Charles Thurley Stoneham.

The film's story is set in the mountains and deserts of the American West. A pack of wolves, led by Lobo, is forced to flee the mountains due to a fire. They migrate to a nearby desert, where they begin to terrorize the local residents by attacking their livestock and sometimes even attacking them.

As the wolf attacks increase, the locals form a posse to hunt down the wolves. Lobo leads the posse away from his pack, getting injured in the process. He is discovered by Dave Weston, a friendly prospector who takes care of him and nurses him back to health. The two form a bond, and Lobo even saves Dave's life when Borax Horton, a claim jumper and chemist, tries to kill him.

In the meantime, Dave has made a Borax find that could make him rich. This pleases his girlfriend May Barstowe, the daughter of a wealthy rancher. However, Borax Horton, who has been trying to steal the claim, learns of the discovery and hatches a plan to steal it. He unleashes his own pack of dogs to kill Lobo and his pack, and then tries to frame them for the killing of the livestock.

However, Lobo and his pack successfully defend themselves against the attack, and the truth behind Borax Horton's schemes is eventually revealed. The film ends with Lobo and Dave saying goodbye as Lobo returns to the wild, but not before sharing a moment of mutual respect and admiration.
