After losing the competition to go on the quest for the Book of All Knowledge, Cord the Seeker sets out on his own path to find it. Along the way, he encounters a variety of martial arts masters and philosophical teachers who challenge his beliefs and push him towards enlightenment.
Cord battles a masked martial artist known as Death, faces off against a group of monks who worship a giant stone hand, and ultimately confronts Zetan himself in a symbolic showdown for the book.
Throughout his journey, Cord grapples with questions of identity, purpose, and the nature of reality. The film's surreal, dreamlike atmosphere and psychedelic visuals add to its philosophical and spiritual themes.
