In this modern retelling, Cinderella is a talented young artist who dreams of leaving her small town and pursuing a career as a painter. However, she is forced to put her dreams on hold when her father passes away, leaving her in the care of her cruel stepmother and stepsisters.
As Cinderella struggles to survive in her new home, she meets a young man named Prince, who is in town to attend an art exhibition. The two quickly bond over their shared passion for art and begin to fall in love.
