The movie Christmas Party Crashers follows the story of two grifters, Izzy and Peter, who inadvertently crash the same millionaire's Christmas party. Izzy is a single mom looking for a big score to support her daughter, while Peter is a former Wall Street banker who lost everything and is now looking for a way to get back his former glory.
When they meet, they initially compete with each other to try and pull off their respective heists. However, after a series of mishaps and misunderstandings, they realize that they can achieve their goals by working together. They form an unlikely partnership and come up with a plan to scam their way to success.
As they work together, they start to develop feelings for each other. However, both Izzy and Peter are hesitant to act on their feelings, fearing that it will jeopardize their partnership and their mission.
Throughout the movie, there are a series of twists and turns as Izzy and Peter navigate their way through the party, avoiding suspicious guests and the cops. In the end, they successfully pull off their scam and achieve their goals. However, they also realize that what they were looking for all along was not money or fame, but true love.
