Christmas in the Wilds is a romantic comedy that was released in 2019. The movie follows the story of Kate Conrad, a newly single mom, who decides to take her son on a Christmas safari in Africa. She planned the trip with her husband, but after he leaves her, she goes alone with her son.
On the safari, Kate meets a pilot named Derek Holliston, who is also going through a tough time after the recent loss of his father. Derek helps Kate and her son explore the wildlife, and they begin to develop feelings for each other.
However, their love story is threatened when Derek's job is jeopardized by a corrupt safari guide. Together, they decide to take down the corrupt guide and his associates, and in the process, they become closer.
In the end, Derek and Kate decide to stay in Africa and start a new life together, realizing that they had found love in the wild.
