After being fired from her job as an ice skating instructor, Alison Grant, played by actress Courtney Mathews, decides to take matters into her own hands and begins to teach private skating lessons on a friend's frozen pond. It's here where she meets her old high school sweetheart, Ivan Hall, played by Aaron Noble, who shows up with his niece, Emily, for skating lessons.
Alison is initially cold towards Ivan, as she's still hurt from their breakup years ago. However, as they spend more time together, the two slowly begin to reconnect. Ivan is still a famous hockey player, and Alison is struggling to get by, supporting herself and her family while also trying to pursue her dream of opening her own ice skating rink.
As the holiday season approaches, Ivan presents Alison with a Christmas coupon – a promise to do anything she wants for the day. Alison uses the coupon to ask Ivan to help her with a fundraiser for her skating rink, which brings the two even closer together. In the end, Ivan helps Alison achieve her dream and they rekindle their love for one another.
The heartwarming romantic comedy also features supporting roles by actors Preeti Desai, Courtney Daniels, and Luke LaFontaine. It is directed by Daniel Knudsen and produced by Crystal Creek Media.
