Katie, played by Merritt Patterson, is initially hesitant to accept the offer to help the princess with her ice skating performance in San Senova since she is still recovering from a career-ending injury. However, she is ultimately convinced to take the job and travel to the picturesque European kingdom.
Upon arriving, Katie is greeted by the charming and handsome King Alexander, played by Brittany Bristow. Alexander is a widower and a devoted father to his young daughter, who is struggling with her ice skating routine. Despite initial friction between Katie and Alexander due to their different approaches to the princess's training, they begin to work well together and grow closer as they explore the beauty and traditions of San Senova.

Despite these obstacles, love prevails as Katie helps the princess deliver a beautiful ice skating performance and Alexander realizes he cannot imagine his life without Katie as his partner. The movie ends with the couple dancing in a glittering palace ballroom, proving that love knows no nationality or tradition.
