Carly is a successful food correspondent who is given an opportunity to host her own show. Her first assignment is to travel to Angel Heights to help a struggling diner owner, Grant, open his restaurant and film a holiday special for her new show. Initially, Carly is hesitant about working with Grant, as he is known to be a tough and stubborn person.
As they work together to revamp the diner, Carly slowly starts to see a different side of Grant. He is hard-working, passionate, and caring. Despite their differences, they start to develop a friendship, which eventually blossoms into a romance. However, Carly soon learns that Grant is hesitant to let anyone get too close to him due to past heartbreak.
As the holiday season approaches, Carly and Grant must not only work together to save the diner but also navigate their complicated feelings for each other. With the help of the tight-knit community in Angel Heights, they overcome their past traumas and open their hearts to each other.
