The experimental filmmaker, Rick, takes on the job as a driver for Taylor, a precocious and foul-mouthed child actor, and his ambitious stage mother, Suzanne. As Rick spends more time with Taylor and Suzanne, he becomes increasingly fascinated and disturbed by their dysfunctional and exploitative relationship. He witnesses the toll it takes on Taylor, who is constantly pushed to perform and behave inappropriately by his mother.
