In Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest, the two brothers, Eli and Joshua, are taken in by a couple in Chicago after their father is killed in Gatlin. However, Eli starts to exhibit strange behavior and begins to manipulate those around him. He convinces his classmates to join a cult that worships "He Who Walks Behind the Rows," a demonic entity that demands sacrifices of children.
Eli also starts to plant corn seeds in various locations around the city, which causes the entity to grow stronger. Meanwhile, Joshua, who is more skeptical of Eli's actions, tries to stop him before it's too late. With the help of a local reporter, they discover that Eli is possessed by the spirit of their deceased father, who was also a follower of the cult.
As the cornfields grow out of control and the cult's influence spreads, Joshua and the reporter race to stop Eli and "He Who Walks Behind the Rows" before they can claim any more innocent victims. The film has a suspenseful climax that involves a showdown between Joshua, Eli, and the demon.
