Family,Drama  United States of America

The movie Cheetah was released in 1989 and directed by Jeff Blyth. It starred Keith Coogan and Lucy Deakins as the American siblings, Ted and Susan. The family is in Kenya for six months to study animal behavior, specifically cheetahs.

When Ted and Susan meet a cheetah cub, they are fascinated by the animal's beauty and grace. They decide to adopt the cub, which they name Duma. They take care of Duma and raise it as one of their own.

However, as Duma grows up, Ted and Susan realize that they must set it free so that it can learn to hunt and survive in the wild. They are heartbroken but know it is the right thing to do.

Soon after Duma is released, it is captured by poachers who plan to sell it to someone who wants to race it against greyhounds. Ted, Susan, and a young African goat herder named Morogo (played by Colin Mothupi) head off into the wild to rescue Duma before it's too late.

Along the way, they face many dangers, including wild animals and treacherous terrain. They also learn about the African way of life and the importance of protecting wildlife.

The movie is a heart-warming adventure about the bond between animals and humans and the importance of conservation. It was filmed on location in Kenya, showcasing the country's beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
