Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is a comedy film released in 2005, directed by Adam Shankman. The movie is a sequel to the 2003 hit film Cheaper by the Dozen. The story revolves around Tom (Steve Martin) and Kate Baker (Bonnie Hunt) who decide to take their twelve children on a summer vacation to Lake Winnetka, Wisconsin.
During the vacation, they are surprised to meet their old friend and rival from college Jimmy Murtaugh (Eugene Levy) and his family, who also have eight children. Tom and Jimmy immediately start competing against each other, with their respective families being drawn into the rivalry.
