Chasing the Rain is a drama film that follows two estranged brothers, Sam and Luke, who are brought back together when they receive news that their father has passed away. Luke, who is a successful writer, returns to their hometown to attend their father's funeral, where he reconnects with his brother Sam, who works at an auto repair shop and has recently become a single father.
As the two brothers bond over their shared past and their grief, they discover that their father had a secret - a son that he had abandoned years ago. Determined to find their long-lost brother, Sam and Luke begin a journey across the country, chasing leads and searching for clues.
