Charro! is a 1969 American western film directed by Charles Marquis Warren and starring Elvis Presley. The movie revolves around Jess Wade (played by Elvis Presley), a reformed outlaw who is falsely accused of stealing a cannon from a group of Mexican revolutionaries. He attempts to clear his name and find the real culprits, a gang of criminals who are actually responsible for the theft.

Wade's attempts to prove his innocence are complicated by his past as a notorious outlaw, as well as the romantic entanglements he finds himself in. He develops a relationship with Tracey Winters (played by Ina Balin), who is the girlfriend of one of the criminals, causing further complications and obstacles on his path to clearing his name.

Throughout the movie, the action and tension build as Wade confronts the gang of criminals and eventually gets ensnared in a dangerous and deadly showdown. The film is notable for being one of the few westerns Presley appeared in, as well as for its focus on a more serious and dramatic storyline, rather than the usual music and comedy that characterized many of Presley's earlier movies.
