Change of Habit is a 1969 musical drama film directed by William A. Graham and starring Elvis Presley and Mary Tyler Moore. The movie tells the story of Dr. John Carpenter, a dedicated doctor who works in a ghetto clinic and how he falls in love with a young woman named Sister Michelle Gallagher, who is actually a nun incognito.

As the story unfolds, Carpenter is initially hesitant to accept the help of Sister Michelle and her fellow nuns, but eventually comes to admire their compassion and dedication to helping the community. Meanwhile, Sister Michelle struggles with her feelings for Carpenter and the conflict between her religious commitment and her growing affection for him.

The movie features several musical numbers, including "Rubberneckin'" and "Let's Be Friends", sung by Elvis Presley, as well as a memorable scene in which the nuns sing "Have a Happy" during an impromptu block party.

As the story reaches its climax, Sister Michelle's true identity is revealed and she must make a difficult decision about her future. Meanwhile, Dr. Carpenter faces a crisis at the clinic that puts his own life in danger.

Change of Habit was not a major box office success, but it has since gained a cult following among Elvis Presley fans and is considered one of his more unconventional films. It also marked the final film appearance for Presley before his death in 1977.
