Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh is a romantic comedy film directed by Karan R Guliani. The movie stars Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta in the lead roles of the Boy and the Girl, respectively.
The story revolves around a Girl named Chandigarhia who visits Amritsar to meet a prospective groom for an arranged marriage. On the other hand, the Boy from Amritsar is a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to talk and is always ready to make new friends.
The two meet each other by chance at the railway station. The Girl is annoyed by the Boy's constant chatter, and the Boy finds the Girl too serious. However, as they start to spend time together, they begin to enjoy each other's company more and more.
Throughout the day, the two have several interesting conversations about the different lifestyles and cultures of Chandigarh and Amritsar. The discussions range from food, language, music, and even the famous Punjabi wedding ceremonies.
As the day comes to an end, the Girl realizes that she has fallen in love with the Boy. However, she has to return to Chandigarh and leave the Boy behind. In the end, she leaves a note with her feelings for him, hoping that he will understand.
