Chalo is a Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Usha Mulpuri under the banner of Ira Creations. The movie stars Naga Shourya and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, with supporting cast members like Naresh, Vennela Kishore, and Satya in pivotal roles.
Hari (Naga Shourya) is a carefree guy who enjoys getting into fights for fun. He loves nothing more than picking fights with strangers just for the sake of it. However, his father (Naresh) is tired of dealing with the consequences of his son's aggressive nature. So, he sends Hari away to Tiruppuram, a village in the Andhra-Tamil Nadu border, to stay with his uncle for a while.
Unbeknownst to Hari, the village has a long-standing feud between the Telugu and Tamil-speaking families that reside there. Hari is Telugu-speaking, and he finds himself unwittingly caught up in the middle of the conflict. He encounters a beautiful Tamil-speaking girl named Karthika (Rashmika Mandanna) and falls for her. However, he soon discovers that she is from the rival Tamil faction.
Initially, Hari tries to use his usual fighting tactics to solve the conflict between the two groups. Still, he quickly realizes that it's not a solution to the problem and that a peaceful resolution must be found. Hari brings the two groups together and encourages them to reconcile their differences, and in the process, he succeeds in uniting the two sides.
Overall, Chalo is an entertaining and light-hearted movie that delivers a positive message of peace and harmony. The love story between Hari and Karthika adds a charming touch to the movie, and the comic timing of the supporting cast members adds an extra layer of humor.
